Art Appreciation

WHAT IS HUMANITIES?

The humanities are the stories, the ideas, and the words that help us make sense of our lives and our world. The humanities introduce us to people we have never met, places we have never visited, and ideas that may have never crossed our minds. By showing how others have lived and thought about life, the humanities help us decide what is important in our own lives and what we can do to make them better. By connecting us with other people, they point the way to answers about what is right or wrong, or what is true to our heritage and our history. The humanities help us address the challenges we face together in our families, our communities, and as a nation.

WHAT IS ART APPRECIATION?

Art appreciation means to feel what the artist wants to communicate. Mostly, the artist wants to convey his experience, his feeling or his view. Our senses must be sensitive to feel his/her feelings. For that we have to sharpen our senses. I mean some sort of training or some experience of that art form is the added advantage for feeling/understanding the message of the artist. Since our babyhood we train our senses. The environment in which we grow plays a major role.
Just sensing is not enough. How our brain processes the signals from the senses is also important. Unknowingly, we are applying many filters.
Art appreciation is a big subject.

 "MY ARTWORKS"

COLOR WHEEL

THIS IS MY COLOR WHEEL, IN MAKING THIS ART I USED PENCIL TO DRAW THE OUTLINE OF MY WHEEL AND ALSO I USED CRAYONS  TO MAKE IT COLORFUL AND LOOK LIVELY.

PENCIL SKETCH

AND THIS ONE IS MY ANIME INSPIRED DRAWING, THE ONLY MEDIUM I USED TO MAKE THIS ART IS PENCIL. AND BY THE WAY DID YOU KNOW THAT A ONE PENCIL CAN WRITE ALMOST 45,000 WORDS AND IT CAN DRAW UNDER WATER OHA!!! TRIVIA LANG. HAHAHA

OBJECTIVE & NON-OBJECTIVE ART

AND NOW LOOK AT THIS ART WORK, CANT IMAGINE I MAKE THIS CREATIVE NON-OBJECTIVE ART I LITERALLY DON'T KNOW HOW I CAME UP TO THIS KIND OF SKETCH, NON OBJECTIVE ART IS A TYPE OF ABSTRACT OR NON-REPRESENTATIONAL ART IT TENDS TO BE GEOMETRIC AND DOES NOT REPRESENT SPECIFIC OBJECTS, PEOPLE OR OTHER SUBJECTS FOUND IN THE NATURAL WORLD. AND TO MAKE THIS ART I USED A MEDIUM OF PENCIL FOR THE OUTLINE AND LASTLY THE WATERCOLOR, AND BY THE WAY USING WATERCOLOR IS FUN BUT NOT KINDA EASY AS YOU THINK. YOU NEED TO BECOME MORE GENTLE IN APPLYING IT WITH WATER.

THIS ONE IS MY OBJECTIVE ART, IS A ARTWORK THAT DEPICTS EASILY RECOGNIZABLE SUBJECT MATTER, IT ALSO KNOWN AS REPRESENTATIONAL OR FIGURATIVE ART. THE MEDIUM I USED TO MAKE THIS ART IT ALSO THE SAME WITH THE MEDIUM I USED IN THE NON OBJECTIVE ART. IN MAKING THIS ART I REALLY ENJOY IT ESPECIALLY WHEN I PAINT IT, IS KINDA CHALLENGING FOR ME BECAUSE YOU NEED TO MAKE A CONTRAST OF COLORS WHICH I'VE NEVER DONE IT BEFORE. SO PROUD TO MAKE THIS KIND OF ARTWORK YIEEE.

ABSTRACTION

THIS IS MY ABSTRACTION ART, AND I CHOOSE THE ELONGATION ART THIS MEAN IS A FORM OF ABSTRACT ART THAT OFTEN DEPICTS THE STRECHED FORMS OF PEOPLE OR OBJECTS IN NATURE. IN MAKING THIS ART I ONLY USED PENCIL, WATER COLOR AND SMALL AMOUNT OF POSTER PAINT TO MAKE THE BACKGROUND.

COFFEE PAINTING

THIS ONE IS MY COFFEE PAINTING, THE MEDIUM I USED HERE IS PENCIL FOR THE SKETCH AND OF COURSE THE COFFEE. ITS FUN MAKING THIS ART WHILE PAINTING IT YOU'LL SMELL THE GOOD AROMA OF THE COFFEE WHICH CAN CHANGE YOUR LAZY MOOD INTO LIVELY... COFFEE IS LIFE!
SCULPTURE

THIS IS MY CLAY SCULPTURE, IM A PERSON WHO LOVE CATS SO MUCH THAT'S WHY I MAKE MY CLAY SCULPTURE LOOK LIKE MY CAT NAMED WOOKIE PATOOTIE. WHILE MAKING THIS ART MY CAT IS ALWAYS ON THE TABLE HE NEVER LEAVE ME UNTIL I FINISH IT MAYBE HE'S LOOKING MY WORK IF HE REALLY LOOKS LIKE HIM HAHAHA SUCH A CUTIE.

THIS ONE IS MY SCULPTURE USING PERLA SOAP, ITS SO MUCH FUN IN MAKING THIS ART I ENJOYED WHEN I'M CARVING IT I ALMOST EXHAUST THE WHOLE SOAP HAHAHA!

IN THE FINAL PERFORMANCE I SANG "TORETE" BY MOONSTAR88 IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE AND ONE OF THE LIST I SING ON THE VIDEOKE.
